April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. in seventh grade. She began playing guitar, and also taking piano lessons which ignited her love for music writing. April Lockhart wrote her first track, Different at age of twelve. at the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing her lyrics, and perfecting her music abilities. The following months she began to take writing trips along with her father, to LA and NY. April started to incorporate different topics that were relevant to the song, such as the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure impairments and even suicide among teenagers. Lockhart collaborates with famous clean beauty brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer, with her own growing following. She has a disability that is part of her persona, however it's not the entire story. In the end, Lockhart's profile doesn't shy away from her disability, but it doesn't center around the issue either. What's the message? The message is in our lives that make us unique and that we are greater than the physical person we are. I do not want this to be the only thing that defines me. I don't want to be a disability influencer who only talks about, because there are my other aspects Lockhart speaks via video from her house in Nashville. My day-today life is not impaired by the disability. I just live my normal day-to-day life and discover my own solutions to issues. It's a huge element of my life so it is important that we talk about the subject. The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken is one that can last many years, yet she is an inspiration for this purpose. Still she admits she's gone through a series of phases in her body having a feeling of insecurity when wearing particular types of clothes that showed off the arms of her. Today, she wears anything she wants. Also, she uploads images on social networks. The journey itself is the one thing I'm not aware of until you've arrived with self-love, she claims. It's a journey, I'm not sure you'll ever reach your destination. Your people with that truly understand you, and can see into your heart are the ones that remind you of why it's important.
