Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast. She has the record of being recognized with 10/10 scores at an Olympic performance. Bela Karrolyi, the Romanian gymnastics coach who later became her coach in later years she discovered her when she was six. At first, she competed in the national junior championships in Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. In her first international competition in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior competition for communist-bloc nations she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974 she was all-around junior champion. In her debut as a senior in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champ winning four gold medals and one silver. She was the first woman to complete the reverse double salo of the bar with a parallel surface after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she began her career in the entertainment industry performing as figure skater. With her brother Nina Wayne she was part of a traveling show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. Her career began by joining her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling performance. They featured staged ice skating shows.
