Gerina-Piller

She was born March 29th 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her heritage is Mexican American but has American nationality. From the time she was a kid, she's had a keen desire to participate in sports. Gerina took up golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina took home in the New Mexico golf state tournament. She also had her volleyball skills recognised at a national level. In 2003, she started studying at The University of Texas. In her senior year she won every tournament she competed in. Through her college career, she won the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
